It is essential that you have a current referral from your GP, or another specialist. This tells Dr Gomez the reason for your appointment, any important medical conditions you may suffer from and any medications you are taking, or allergies you have. It also allows you to claim a rebate from medicare for part of the cost of your consultation fee.
